2002 BMW M5

This 2001 BMW M5 was acquired by the seller in July of 2019 and is finished in Le Mans Blue over black full leather. Power is provided by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, some work was carried out in 2019 consisted replacement of the spark plugs, thermostat, water pump, radiator, coolant flush, rotors, and brakes. In 2016 upper and lower control arms on the right and left side, tie rods on the left and the right have also been replaced. This E39 M5 is offered by the seller with service records, manufacturer’s literature, windshield cover, a Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title. The car is finished in Le Mans Blue (381) and features xenon headlights with factory angel eyes, titanium trim, an electric sunroof, Alcantara headliner and pillars, a decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The current owner states the bumpers were refinished. Cracking paint is noted on the hood, driver door, and normal scratches, chips, and dings through the body. The factory 18” Double-spoke style 65 wheels were recently refinished, 18x8 in front and 18x9.5 in the rear, wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza Sports. Upgrades included Koni shocks in the rear, while the brake pads, rotors, were replaced back in 2019. Production date 2002-03-12. The 4.9-liter S62 V8 has been modified with a Corsa exhaust system. The cabin is trimmed in a monotone black Sport interior with Ostrich leather (05SW), matching dash, center console, door panels, and carpets. The latter of which is protected by factory M5-branded floor mats. Amenities include brushed aluminum trim, power-adjustable and heated front seats with position memory for the driver, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and widescreen navigation, DVD for the navigation is unavailable. The driver seat is misaligned, broken cable on the back and the auto-dimming rearview mirror has failed. A multifunction steering wheel frames a 185-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a variable redline along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil temperature. The odometer indicates just under 114200 miles, of which approximately 6700 miles have been added by the current owner. Pixels are all working from the digital display readout, and all interior buttons are attached and working properly.
